Now that states are starting to crack down on cities who do not have backflow prevention programs, it is imperative that cities turn to technology to help reduce costs and improve compliance.  It is not efficient to try to manage a backflow prevention program via paper-based methods or old-school spreadsheet lists.  A comprehensive program truly should utilize a web-based solution that provides the following features:

  • Inventory of assemblies
  • Owner inventory
  • Compliance status
  • Online test submission
  • Test result reporting
